ABOUT CITY LEAGUES
City Leagues are designed to be the foundation of the 3X3 basketball movement as players develop their skills while playing the game of 3on3 on a grassroots level. City Leagues are a nationwide network where teams from all over the country and all ages compete on one platform for one title. It’s the introduction to the game of 3X3 Basketball for many players, coaches and officials as they learn the difference in rules, skills and endurance needed to play the sport on a high level. It’s also the first level of the 3X3USA Platform where athletes can begin to earn those invaluable FIBA Points.
For Players it starts with registering to play in your local 3X3City League where youth and adults can learn the game while playing it. The objective should be to win the City League Championship in your town and advance to the state competition level where you and your 3 teammates take on other city league champions in hopes to move on to the Regional Championships. You’ll be one step closer to the 3X3USA Youth National Championships in Tucson, AZ and Adult National Championships in Waikiki, Hawaii.

LEAGUE ORGANIZERS
If you’re interested in hosting a 3X3City League in your town here’s what you need to do.
1. Identify your desired location and follow the necessary steps to acquire a permit to host your league.
2. Register your league with 3X3USA to acquire Franchise rights to host a 3x3City League in your town.
3. Begin to assemble your team of Game Day Staff, Timer(s)/Score Keeper(s), Officials, Volunteers and of course teams that will be participating.
4. Receive your Official League Organizer Package that includes:
– 3X3USA League Competition Rules and Requirements
– League Player and Referee Uniform Guidelines
– League Registration Forms
– Local League Marketing and Sponsorship Materials
– One(1) Branded 3X3City Leagues Tent
– Two(2) Branded 3X3City Leagues Player Benches
– One(1) Branded 3X3City Leagues or Sponsored Water Cooler/Dispenser
– Four(1) Branded 3X3City Leagues or Sponsored Water Bottles(Once Available)
– Two(2) Branded 3X3City Leagues Banners
– Access to 3X3USA League Stats System to upload weekly League / Team / Players’ Stats
5. Meet 3X3City Leagues Broadcast Streaming Requirements(TBD)
COACHES
If you’re a coach of a team and looking to enter your squad into a 3X3City League in your area you can do so by first contacting 3X3USA to make sure there is a local league in your area.
You will be provided with the contact information for the Local League Organizer in your city where they will supply you with information on how to register for their next season of competition.

Once your team has completed the registration process you should expect to receive an official game rules book and Game jerseys for your team from your League Organizer.(where available)
(Remember Coaches are not allowed on the playing area during active play with exception to timeouts)
