FIBA is the Governing Body of International Basketball Competition. It is because of their FIBA’s overall commitment to the growth of the sport of 3on3 Basketball around the world that it’s now an Official Olympic Competition.
FIBA COMPETITION PLATFORMS
All teams that compete in Official World and Olympic Competitions must first qualify by competing in sanctioned FIBA Qualifying Tournaments. Every nation’s teams and players want to compete on the highest level but it all starts with FIBA
FIBA has transformed the sport of 3on3 Basketball by creating a 12 Country World Cup Championship Tour that features the top teams from around the globe all battling to be the 3×3 Champions of the World. Only the top teams make the FIBA World Cup Tour but even fewer qualify for Olympic Competition.
